SysinfoTools OST to PST Migrator Software Guide

Step 1: Install and Run Tool


Download the OST to PST Converter Tool and install it on your system. Run the tool as an administrator.

Step 2: Specify Log Path & Temp Path Location


In the opening window, you can specify the path to save the Log File and Temp File.

Step 3: Choose Options to Proceed


In the opening wizard, select either of the two given options: Select Folder and Single File/Multiple Files. Click Next.

Step 4: Select Files/Folders


To add single or multiple files, click on the Select File(s) tab and to add a folder, click Select Folder.

Step 5: Select and Remove OST files


Browse and locate the OST files, select the file to convert, and click Open. you can also remove any unwanted file using the Remove or Remove All option. Click Next.

Step 6: Preview Panel Opens


Once you click Next, a pop-up appears on the screen: ‘Import Successful. Please Expand the Tree Hierarchy’. Click Ok to continue.

Step 7: Expand the Tree Hierarchy


Next, expand the tree structure containing files and folders present for the chosen OST file. Check the folders to export.

Step 8: Preview and Select Files


Double-click on any email to see the information and attachments present in it. Tick the checkboxes in the left panel to select files. Click Next.

Step 9: Select Saving Format


To save, choose an appropriate file format from the given list. Say, we choose PST.

Step 10: Applying Additional Filters


You can also apply additional options and filters to enhance the output. Select Remove Duplicate, Maintain Folder Hierarchy, Date Filter, and more.

Step 11: Save Converted File


Subsequently, specify the destination in the Path to Save column, and finally click on the Convert button to convert OST files into PST format.

Step 12: Download Report


Once the OST file conversion is complete, click OK. To download the conversion report, click Download Report. Moreover, using the Convert Again button, start the migration once more.

Step 1: Launch the Tool


Install the OST to PST Converter on your system. Run the tool as an administrator.

Step 2: Specify Location


In the opening wizard, you can provide the Log Path and Temp Path to save.

Choose either of the two given options: Select Folder and Single File/Multiple Files. Click Next.

Step 4: Select Files/Folders to Proceed


Click on the Select File(s) to add single/multiple files and Select Folder to add a folder.

Step 5: Select OST files


Locate the OST files to convert, and click Open. You can also use the Remove or Remove All option to deselect unrequired files/folders. Click Next.

Step 6: Preview Panel


Further, a pop-up appears: ‘Import Successful. Please Expand the Tree Hierarchy’. Click Ok.

Step 7: Expand the Tree Structure


Now, continue expanding the tree hierarchy to view all files and folders in the OST file. Select folders to export.

Step 8: Preview and Attachments


Double-click on any email to view the content in it. Click Next.

Step 9: Select Saving Format


Now, click the Email Client option and choose an option from the drop-down menu. Say we pick Office 365.

Step 10: Sign into Account


Subsequently, enter your Office 365 email address, choose Modern Authentication, and click the Sign In button.

You will be redirected to your browser. Enter your Office 365 credentials and click Sign in.

Step 11: Select Additional Filters


You can also choose other options and filters such as Remove Duplicate, Date Filter, and more. Next, specify the Path to Save.

Step 12: Save Report File


Lastly, click the Convert button to import OST files into the Email Client.

Step 13: Download Report


Once the OST file is imported, click OK. To download the conversion report, click Download Report. Moreover, using the Convert Again button, start the migration once more.
